Will definitely return. Always love a night out at Ruths Chris. As usual, service was spectacular. Ordered the specialty cut new york strip with the truffle crust and it was spectacular. Also for desert, I highly recommend the sweet potatoes with vanilla ice cream, its perfect. Room was very nice and our server was really good. Food however was average at best. Prices are very high and meal was very expensive.
Not sure if food was worth the cost. Everyone was very friendly and kept making sure we were ok. Another awesome dinner!! I started with a salad, it was good I had the cowboy ribeye—perfectly cooked!
Had asparagus with hollandaise sauce, delicious!! Partner had filet and shrimp Had free dessert for my birthday Service was awesome, too!! Highly recommend restaurant!!!! Great service! Great meal! Their filet and double lobster tail special was tremendous! Joel was a great server. The food was exceptional. Everything was amazing down to the valet. We were well taken care of and never rushed. We ordered a seafood tower and our server actually took our menus away and let us enjoy our appetizer before returning the menus to order our main course. It was owned by a fellow named, aptly enough, Chris Matulich, who'd run the place since Matulich gave Fertel the right to keep the name as long as the restaurant stayed in the original location.
After a fire in forced her to relocate, Fertel had a week to invent a new name. The agreement with Matulich prevented her from using "Chris Steak House," but that was how everyone knew the place.
